The Board of a non-profit represents the community served by the organization, as well as the wider community. Without the perspective of the Board, the organization operates in an echo chamber. Coming Home Connection is indebted to the committed service of our all-volunteer Board of Directors.
Janet has put in a career in health services and non-profit organizational development, including directing an Adult Day Care Center and a hospital foundation. She has both family and professional experience with hospice.
Retired after over 40 years of practice, most of it in Santa Fe, Mark’s career included 7 years as a Wound Care Specialist at Christus St. Vincent Wound and Hyperbaric Center, and serving as consultant to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
Jeff is a portfolio and relationship manager with the Rikoon Group. He is a certified financial planner (CFP) with a BA from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is also a musician, vocalist and guitarist, and performs intermittently at clubs and special events. He is married to Barbara, and has two stepsons, Naijo and Ian, and one daughter, Stephanie.
Jackie is a partner with the Sommer Udall Law Firm. She has served as Assistant General Counsel with New Mexico’s Aging and Long-Term Services Department; NM Counsel to the Long-Term Care State Ombudsman; Assistant General Counsel with NM Dept. of Health, Office of General Counsel, Santa Fe, NM; Law Clerk with the Dept. of Health, Office of General Counsel, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM; Tutor for Civil Procedure, UNM Accessibility Services, Alb., NM; member of the Estate Planning Council; presenter at the 2016 Probate Institute; and on the Santa Fe Estate Planning Council Board of Directors, 2018 – 2020.
Anna Marie is Director of Early Childhood Programs at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Foundation. She has over 25 years experience teaching and administering educational programs in early childhood and for populations with special needs. She has been a member and Secretary of the Ghost Ranch Conference Center Governing Board and Secretary of The Wildlife Center Board of Directors; as well as a board member for the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism.
Patrick Salas is the newest member of our Board of Directors. Patrick is the Executive Director of Addus Ambercare Hospice for the Santa Fe, Espanola and Las Vegas region and a positive ambassador with more than 20 years of progressive leadership in the healthcare service industry in both pre-hospital and acute critical care settings.
